Local and friendly cuisine

The Bistrot de l’O offers local, seasonal and gourmet cuisine! Chef Jean-Alain Poitevin is a lover of local products and a tireless ambassador of our Côte d’Orien region. On the menu, you will find the all the traditional Burgundian dishes revisited as well as his creations.

For lunch, we offer a menu based on what’s to be found at market that day and the flavours of the moment.

With a capacity of 40 people and a terrace, our restaurant welcomes tourists and locals from Tuesday for lunch to Saturday evening.

Authenticity, friendliness and passion are the key words to describe chef Jean-Alain Poitevin’s cuisine.

A disciple of Auguste Escoffier, Jean-Alain arrived in the Côte-d’Or in 1993. He hasn’t left it since.

After an apprenticeship at the Moulin de la Gorce, he trained in the kitchens of some fine establishments (Maison Lameloise, Domaine les Crayères, Chateau de Chailly, Hôtel de la Poste, Hôtel de la Poste, Château de Gilly).

Today, as an experienced professional, he has been thinking about his supplies for several years and, by extension, about his cooking. He is the first chef to have created a 100% Côte d’Or menu made up entirely of products from local producers.

Always « wanting to defend our know-how, our producers, our local products », he created the menu at the Bistrot de l’O.

We are particularly proud of the fact that it is a living menu that evolves over time. The menu changes with the seasons and on the basis of the producers’ harvests. This means that the chef may have to change a dish, a starter, etc. two or three times a week. « There may not be a lot of fish, but we are in the country of cheese, wine, poultry… our approach is to highlight all our artisans and producers who do wonderful things. » .

The dining room & the terrace

To complete your gourmet escapade, you will travel through Burgundy and its colours in our dining room.

The warm atmosphere, with exposed beams and contemporary furniture, will enchant you.

With its 40 seats, the dining room can be privatized on request.

The newly created terrace is located in the vineyard patio. You will be delighted with its bewitching, green calm.

During the summer months, we offer a selection of charcuterie platters and cheese boards.

Open from Tuesday lunchtime to Saturday evening (12 p.m.-2 p.m. & 7 p.m.-9 p.m. depending on the season)

We offer lunch formulas, dinner formulas, a 100% Côte d’Or menu and a children’s menu.

Our menu is changing according to the seasons and the harvests of our local producers.
